The 7-game season begins approximately Sunday, April 1, 2012, (weather permitting) with games played between 12:00PM and 6:00PM. Teams play approximately 60 minutes with last inning called 10 minutes before the hour. Typically, games consist of 5 to 7 innings.

• Games will be played Mother's Day but not Easter Weekend or Memorial Day Weekend
• Season will end no later than June 24
• League may relocate games to other fields in response to inclement weather
• All teams will qualify for play-offs but may be reassigned conferenced to ensure parity

Teams play with 10 players. To avoid a forfeit, teams must consist of at least 8 players on the field, of which 3 must be female.

The minimum roster for any team is 12 players. The league reserves the right to add free agents to group rosters with 11 or fewer players. Open teams will consist of 14 to 18 free agent players.

The League fee includes 6 games (6 regular season games and at least one play-off game), 1 DC Social umpire, 1 new game ball each game, DC Social t-shirts, and access to DC Social Parties. Arlington county residents receive a discounted rate of $60 by using the discount code "ARL3." Players must provide proof of residency by Week 2 games. Corporate teams and veteran teams should inquire about the Corporate Rate.

Arlington County requires that all participants submit proof of residency (e.g. driver's license, ulities bill, etc.). Non-Arlington county residents are still welcomed but must pay an additional fee. All residency documents must be submitted at the Captain's Meeting.
